- Sturdy lightweight aluminum housing (2 lb.)
- High efficiency, high frequency, solid state ballast and U-shaped lamp (bulb)
- Instant start-up - no extra buttons to push
- Ergonomic four-way adjustable handle
- Specially selected high efficiency reflector
- The filter holder brackets have slotted "fingers" so as to not put stress on the filter
- Lamp life will be over 6000 "on-off" cycles, depending on use
- Four non-skid feet to protect the filter when the light is set down
- Four different UV wavelengths available; SW, MW, LW350 and LW370

Additional details about the AC power supply that comes with the SuperBright II
- The AC power supply has a green LED indicating when power is applied
- The power supply will work from 100 to 240 V and from 50 to 60 Hz
- The power supply is short circuit protected; if a short happens the supply will shut down under the short is removed
- The AC cord plugs into an IEC connector so any IEC power cord can be used with the power supply
